Carnelian Bay Half | Lake Tahoe Marathon

If you do not have a support crew to take you to the start line or bring you back on Friday or Saturday, you should register for the round-trip charter bus to the start line and from the finish line back to the Beach Retreat & Lodge. Pre- and post-race buses on Friday and Saturday are $30 round trip. Sunday has included shuttles to the start lines.

Buses return at 11 AM and Noon. Reserve a ticket online or bring cash to the available finish line space. If you finish after 12 PM, you will need your own transportation back.

TART has public buses that go back to Incline. You might be able to park your car at the finish at Commons Beach and take the bus back to the start.

Carnelian Bay Half Marathon

Saturday @ 8:30 am to Noon

Twilight is at 6:46 AM, and Sunrise is at 7:11 AM

This boutique half-marathon course starts from Incline Village and ends at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. After you finish, enjoy a chilling dip in the lake, a beer, and a hotdog. This race is limited to 150 a la carte runners and 150 runners doing the Trifecta (three half-marathons in three days). You may run this race a la carte or as part of the Tahoe Trifecta, which has a 3:15 time limit.

For this race, you must follow the Rules of the Road as you run on the shoulder or bike path, always staying on the left side and facing traffic when not on the bike path. Do not stray onto the state highway.

All finishers receive a beautiful long-sleeve technical T-shirt at the finish line, which is great for winter training runs.
The first man and woman will receive an overall award.
