  • A one of a kind 3 Day Triathlon with 2 levels of distances and competition.

  • This event is for the vacationing Triathletes who will do one event a day for three days. 

  • Choose one of the 4 competitive distances form the table below

  •  Or pick your events a la carte and compete in the individual event.

  • The Lake Tahoe Triathlon  offers a choice of  Kayak or Swim with several distances.

  • Try the vacation Special: any 3 Triathlon events. Choose check off any 3 when you register

 Friday Kayak 5 or 10 Miles or Swim 1/2 mile, a mile, or 2 miles.
  Saturday is Bike day with a 72 Mile around the Lake race, or a 35 or 20 mile alternative.
 Sunday choose between the Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K.

  • Enjoy your favorite sport at Tahoe while in vacation mode.

  • Rent a Kayak or a Bike here at Lake Tahoe.

  • KayakTahoe.com   will deliver your Kayak to the start line and pick it up at the finish line for you.
    They will even give you a free lesson on Thursday.

 

 

New Format for 2009

  • In order to satisfy the potential Ironman athlete and as well as the Novice we offer 2 divisions with a Kayak/Swim choice.

  • There will be an under 40 and Master Age Division (40+) with an award for 1st Place in each division.

  • And of course men and women's divisions

  • Do a (5 or 10 mile Kayak Race) or ( 1 or 2 Mile) Swim on Friday

  • Cycle  (35 or 72 Miles)  around the Lake on Saturday

  • Run (10K or Half or Marathon) on Sunday

  • The Lake Tahoe Triathlon is designed as a fun event that can be used as training event for a future full one day triathlon

  • Or can do just a single event a la carte

  • Or for the real stud, try doing 6 events in 5 days with the Wednesday's Race Director's Run, and Thursday's Speed Golf

The 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon are all run with the regular events on Sunday

 

The Swim and the Kayak events will take place on Lakeside Beach. The Royal Valhalla Lodge is across the street from the Lakeside Beach at Stateline and next to the Marina as shown on the map. This area is the 13 mile of the 1st leg of the Tahoe Triple run the same day.
